Join us for the annual Spring Fling Pickleball Tournament on April  11-12, 2026, hosted by Ventura County Pickleball Club (VCPC) and Conejo  Recreation and Park District (CRPD) at Rancho Conejo Playfield in  Newbury Park.

This is an automated tournament run on the SWISH Sports App. Players  are required to have the SWISH Sports App installed on their phones and  have their DUPR ID linked to their Swish Profile before arriving on  site. Tournament results will be uploaded to DUPR.  Players do not need to pay for the yearly SWISH fee to participate in this tournament.

Important: ALL players who register are required to have an email  address and DUPR ID. For all team competitions, the player who registers  the team must have email addresses and DUPR ID’s for BOTH players. Registration without this information may delay your entry.

• Cost is $120*/team for Round Robin competition.
• Cost is $60*/person for Men’s Singles.

               *Includes lunch for players. 

• PLEASE check the DUPR rating for each player prior to registering  for the tournament. All available pickleball rating systems, as well as  results in previous tournaments (VCPC/CRPD, and other local  tournaments), will help determine the minimum level at which you will be  required to play. Teams must register for the highest skill level that  either player holds. Teams may play up but not down.

Maximum DUPR rating for 2.5 division is 2.99.

Maximum DUPR rating for 3.0 division is 3.49.

Maximum DUPR rating for 3.5 division is 3.99.

Maximum DUPR rating for 4.0 division is 4.49.

After taking all these factors into consideration, if your rating or  skill level exceeds the bracket you have entered, the VCPC Seeding Committee and Tournament Director reserves the right to move you to the  appropriate division.

DIVISIONS:

• Saturday: Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 (Schedule TBA).
• Saturday: 2.5 Beginners Mixed Doubles (Schedule TBA). 
  • Note: The 2.5  Beginners Mixed Doubles division is a SET partner round robin that can have teams of either TWO women or ONE woman and ONE man.
• Saturday: Men’s Singles (Schedule TBA).
• Sunday: Men’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 (Schedule TBA).
• Sunday: Women’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 (Schedule TBA).
• Senior or older players will have their own division when numbers allow.
• VCPC will group teams by age in each division and split into groups  of 7 or 8 teams each (if numbers allow). VCPC reserves the right to  adjust grouping by age as needed.

OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

• 10 outdoor courts (6 dedicated and 4 multi-use courts).
• Round Robin set partner format (except for Men’s Singles).
• Medals awarded to the top three places in each division.
• Top three winners will be determined by the "Results" page (Win/Loss) on the SWISH Sports App.
• Complementary snacks and water available.
• Lunch will be provided to players.

• Players looking for partners: Please send an email to tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com with the following information: name, age, DUPR ID & rating, email  address, phone number, and the bracket you want to play in: Women’s,  Men’s or Mixed Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, etc.

• Waitlist: If your division is full and you would like to be added to a waiting list, please send an email to tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com with the following information for BOTH players:  names, ages, DUPR IDs & ratings, email addresses, phone numbers,  and the bracket you want to play in: Women’s, Men’s or Mixed Doubles,  3.0, 3.5, etc.

• Paddles:   As of the day of the tournament, only paddles on USA Pickleball’s approved  list may be used in the tournament. For a full list of approved paddles, click here. 
• Tournament  Ball: Franklin X40.
• Agreement, Waiver of Liability and Release (waiver): When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging to the terms  and conditions of the Waiver. You will receive by email, a link to the  Waiver for electronic signature. You will be required to initial the  boxes next to each section of the Waiver and sign and date the Waiver  promptly upon receipt of the email notice. If for any reason you could  not complete this in advance there will be Waivers available at the  Registration Desk for you to sign before you can participate in the  tournament. (a copy of the Waiver is posted on SWISH registration site under Photos tab and will be posted at the Registration Desk), 
• Code of Conduct:   VCPC, CRPD and USAP.  Click on text to review the Codes of  Conduct:  VCPC Code of Conduct,  USAP Code of Conduct and  CRPD Code of Conduct.   As a part of the Waiver, you will be required to acknowledge that you  have reviewed and agree to abide by the policies and conditions of  VCPC’s Code of Conduct and those of USAP and CRPD.
• Dress Code: USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required. 

Cancellation/Changes/Refund Policy

• If you need to change partners or withdraw from the tournament, email the Swish Coordinator at tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com
• Refunds - Will be given until Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
  
  ALL REFUNDS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.
   

NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees. 

 Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:

1. If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free.
2. You will be given an ID#. Write it down and note DUPR Rating or if NR (Not Rated), along with your DUPR password.
3. In DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball Club - Click on Clubs on the left of screen, search for VCPC, JOIN CLUB.
4. Next, go to your app store and download the SWISH Sports app.
5. Register (FREE) and then in the SWISH Sports App on your phone,  click on "Profile" in the bottom right-hand corner, there you will be  able to LINK YOUR DUPR ID TO YOUR SWISH PROFILE - This will take you  directly to DUPR and will link automatically once you log in. 6. If you already have the Swish Sports App, verify you have the  latest software. Simply go to your App Store and search for the Swish  Sports App. If the item says “Open”, then you have the latest version.  If the item says “Update” click that button to download the latest  software update.
7. Once you scan in on the day of the tournament, you will then be  ready for the tournament! If you are having trouble with linking your  SWISH Sports app with DUPR, please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in  for help.
