Tournament Information

Registration has closed and all divisions are full, except for the Youth Scramble (No Partner Needed).  If you are interested in signing up for this division, please send an email to tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com.

If you are interested in being placed on the wait-list for our other divisions listed in the schedule above, please send an email to tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com with the following information for players:  names, ages, DUPR IDs & Ratings, emails and phone numbers, and bracket you want to play in. 

All tournament participants will receive an email on or about March 17, 2025, containing information regarding their event, the date of their event, division, check-in time and start time. Please check with your partner first to see if they have received an email. If you both have not received an email by March 18, contact the Tournament Director and SWISH Coordinator at tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com. The following is more information regarding the tournament:

• Place:  Rancho Conejo Playfield, 950 Ventu Park Rd., Newbury Park, CA
• 10 outdoor courts (6 dedicated and 4 multi-use courts).
• This is an automated tournament run on the SWISH App. Players are required to have the SWISH App uploaded to their phone (see below under SWISH/DUPR Instructions). 
• Round Robin format.
• Medals awarded to the top three places in each division.
• Top three winners will be determined by the “Results” page on the SWISH App. 
• Complementary snacks and water available.
• Food available for purchase from Twisted Meats.

• Tournament Rules: Official USA Pickleball 2025 Rulebook. 
• As of the day of the tournament, only paddles on USA Pickleball’s  approved list may be used in the tournament.  For a full list of approved paddles, visit www.equipment.usapickleball.org
• Tournament Ball: Franklin X40.
• Dress Code:  USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required.  
• Code of Conduct: VCPC, CRPD and USAP. VCPC's Code of Conduct is under documents section of website: click here. Click underlined text to review the Codes of Conduct for CRPD & USAP. USAP Code of Conduct and CRPD Code of Conduct. As a part of the Waiver, all participants will be required to acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to abide by the policies and conditions of VCPC’s Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and conditions of CRPD and USAP, outlined on their websites.
• Agreement, Waiver and Release (Waiver):  You may review the waiver by clicking on this link: https://swishtournaments.com/product/spring-fling-pickleball-tournament-2/ and scrolling down to the “Photos” tab.  When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging the terms and conditions of the Waiver. You will also be required to sign the Waiver at the Registration Desk.

Cancellation/Changes/Refund Policy

• If you need to change partners or withdraw from the tournament, email the Swish Coordinator at tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com
• Refunds - Will be given until Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
  
  ALL REFUNDS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.
  
  NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees. 

 Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:

• If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free.
• Complete  registration in DUPR and then they will give you an ID#.  Write it  down! Remember to save your password so you can get in again. 
• Also  while in DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball  Club. Click on "Clubs" on the left of the screen, then search for VCPC  and follow instructions to join the club in DUPR.
• If you are not already in SWISH, go to the app store on your phone and download the SWISHapp.  It is required for this tournament.
• Complete registration in SWISH and then you will need to link your SWISH account to your DUPR account.
• In  the SWISH App on your phone, click on "profile" in the bottom  right-hand corner and there you will be able to link your DUPR ID# to  your SWISH account. Simply click on the link which will take you to DUPR  and automatically link the two. 
• Please be sure you have completed these tasks PRIOR to arriving at the venue.
