SPRING FLING Pickleball Tournament Schedule

The tournament is almost here!  In light of some withdraws due to the postponement of the tournament, we have open spots in 3.5 Mixed Doubles and 3.0 Women's Doubles. Please send an email to tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com, if you wish to play in one of these divisions or be placed on our wait-list for a particular division. At this time, the groupings and the timelines that have previously established will all be the same.  However, VCPC reserves the right to adjust groupings and noted times as necessary.  

The following is more information regarding the tournament:

• New Dates:   April 18-19, 2026 
• Schedule:  See above. 
• Place:  Rancho Conejo Playfield, 950 Ventu Park Rd., Newbury Park, CA.
• Complementary snacks and water available.
• Lunch will be provided to players by Twisted Meats. 
• 10 outdoor courts (6 dedicated and 4 multi-use courts).
• This is an automated tournament run on the SWISH App. Players are required to have the SWISH App uploaded to their phone (see below under SWISH/DUPR Instructions). 
• Round Robin format.
• Medals awarded to the top three places in each division.
• Top three winners will be determined by the “Results” page on the SWISH App.

• Paddles:   As of the day of the tournament, only paddles on USA Pickleball’s approved  list may be used in the tournament. For a full list of approved paddles, click here. 
• Tournament  Ball: Franklin X40.
• Agreement, Waiver of Liability and Release (waiver): When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging to the terms  and conditions of the Waiver. You will receive by email, a link to the  Waiver for electronic signature. You will be required to initial the boxes next to each section of the Waiver and sign and date the Waiver promptly upon receipt of the email notice. If for any reason you could not complete this in advance there will be Waivers available at the  Registration Desk for you to sign before you can participate in the  tournament. (a copy of the Waiver is posted on SWISH registration site under Photos tab and will be posted at the Registration Desk), 
• Code of Conduct:   VCPC, CRPD and USAP.  Click on text to review the Codes of  Conduct:  VCPC Code of Conduct,  USAP Code of Conduct and  CRPD Code of Conduct.   As a part of the Waiver, you will be required to acknowledge that you  have reviewed and agree to abide by the policies and conditions of  VCPC’s Code of Conduct and those of USAP and CRPD.
• Dress Code: USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required. 

Cancellation/Changes/Refund Policy

• If you need to change partners or withdraw from the tournament, email the Swish Coordinator at tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com
• Refunds - Will be given until Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
  
  ALL REFUNDS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.
  
  NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees. 

Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:

1. If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free.
2. You will be given an ID#. Write it down and note DUPR Rating or if NR (Not Rated), along with your DUPR password.
3. In DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball Club - Click on Clubs on the left of screen, search for VCPC, JOIN CLUB.
4. Next, go to your app store and download the SWISH Sports app.
5. Register (FREE) and then in the SWISH Sports App on your phone,  click on "Profile" in the bottom right-hand corner, there you will be  able to LINK YOUR DUPR ID TO YOUR SWISH PROFILE - This will take you  directly to DUPR and will link automatically once you log in. 6. If you already have the Swish Sports App, verify you have the  latest software. Simply go to your App Store and search for the Swish  Sports App. If the item says “Open”, then you have the latest version.  If the item says “Update” click that button to download the latest  software update.
7. Once you scan in on the day of the tournament, you will then be  ready for the tournament! If you are having trouble with linking your  SWISH Sports app with DUPR, please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in  for help.
