MiLP Team Schedule & Youth Scramble

All DUPR Divisions for the MiLP Team Tournament are full and registration has closed.  To be placed on the waitlist, please send an email to  tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com. The format will be a 4-Person Team Format and each team will consist of two (2) females and two (2) males.  For the tournament, you will be playing with the same 4-person team the entire time.  Your entire team will stick together to cheer each other on. 

All tournament participants should have received emails the week of June 16 containing information regarding their event, the date of their event, division, check-in time and start time.  The following is information for participants regarding the tournament:

• Place:  Rancho Conejo Playfield, 950 Ventu Park Rd., Newbury Park, CA 

MiLP Team Tournament: PLEASE be on time: 7:30 sign in, 8:00 start.  Teams are welcome to come earlier to warm up.  Your entire team will have a 5-minute warmup before the first game starts.  Then 2 minute between matches.  This is a fast-moving schedule and should take approx. 1 hour per match with 5 or 6 matches being played. Plan for our end time to be at approximately 2:00 for all players.

Rotating Partner Round Robin - No Partner Required

Parking at Rancho Conejo Playfield can be difficult so please allow extra time and be aware that you may need to park offsite. 

Everyone must check-in when they arrive, sign the waiver form and scan in for your division.  Once you have scanned in, your bracket can be viewed on the SWISH APP. 

PLEASE do not start any games until after the players' meeting at 8:00.  Details of the team MiLP rules, will be discussed and how to start a match at the players meeting. (See attached)

New Feature: Spectator Mode - friends and family can scan a code to watch your progress on the Swish App.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THE SWISH APP LOADED ONTO THEIR PHONE PRIOR TO CHECK-IN.

YOUR SWISH APP MUST BE LINKED TO YOUR DUPR ACCOUNT - THIS IS DONE BY GOING INTO PROFILE ON YOUR APP.

Sandwiches and chips are complementary for all players.  Bananas, snacks and water will be complementary also!

• Tournament Rules: Official USA Pickleball 2025 Rulebook, except to the extent that the MiLP Team Tournament Rules apply.

• Tournament Ball: Franklin X40.
• Dress Code:  USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required.
• Code of Conduct: VCPC, CRPD and USAP.   VCPC Code of  Conduct (click here). Click underlined text  to review the Codes of  Conduct for CRPD & USAP.  USAP Code of Conduct and CRPD Code of  Conduct. As a part of the Waiver, all participants will be required to acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to abide by the policies and conditions of VCPC’s Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and conditions of CRPD and USAP, outlined on their websites.
• Agreement, Waiver and Release (Waiver):  You may review the waiver by clicking on this link: https://swishtournaments.com/product/spring-fling-pickleball-tournament-2/ and scrolling down to the “Photos” tab.  When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging the terms and conditions of the Waiver. You will also be required to sign the Waiver at the Registration Desk.
• Top three winners will be determined by the "Results" page on the SWISH App

Cancellation/Changes/Refund Policy

• If you need to change partners or withdraw from the tournament, email the Swish Coordinator at tournaments@venturacountypickleballclub.com
• Refunds - Will be given until Friday, June 13, 2025
  
  ALL REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES. 

NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees. 

 Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:

• If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free.
• Complete  registration in DUPR and then they will give you an ID#.  Write it  down! Remember to save your password so you can get in again. 
• Also  while in DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball  Club. Click on "Clubs" on the left of the screen, then search for VCPC  and follow instructions to join the club in DUPR.
• If you are not already in SWISH, go to the app store on your phone and download the SWISHapp.  It is required for this tournament.
• Complete registration in SWISH and then you will need to link your SWISH account to your DUPR account.
• In  the SWISH App on your phone, click on "profile" in the bottom  right-hand corner and there you will be able to link your DUPR ID# to  your SWISH account. Simply click on the link which will take you to DUPR  and automatically link the two. 
• Please be sure you have completed these tasks PRIOR to arriving at the venue.   If you are having trouble with synching your SWISH app with DUPR, please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in for help.
